Frequently Asked Questions
What are your rates for individual and relationship sex therapy?
Please contact me using the link below for my current sex therapy rates.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes. Most insurance companies do cover for my services as a Registered Psychotherapist licensed with the College of Psychotherapists of Ontario. I would recommend that you check with your insurance carrier to make sure that your coverage applies to either treatment provided by a psychotherapist or counsellor. I provide receipts of payment to submit to your insurance for reimbursement.
Do you provide in-person sex therapy?
At this time and for the foreseeable future, I am only providing therapy virtually via phone or video.
Can you provide me with a referral to another sex therapist, clinician or specialist to suit my needs?
Of course! I would be happy to refer you to another sex therapist or clinician that I think could suit your needs best. I can also refer you to another specialist, such as a pelvic floor specialist, however, some specialists may need to be referred by your general physician.
How long does sex therapy take and when does it end?
The length of time therapy takes largely depends on how complex the problem(s) are as well as the length of time your problem(s) have existed. In addition, you’re attendance to regularly scheduled sessions coupled with your perseverance, diligence and motivation to work on said sexual health issues outside of therapy, greatly determines how long we would have to work together to reach your goals. In general, therapy ends when you feel like all your therapeutic goals have been reached.
